About St Albans Wood Recycling

St Albans Wood Recycling is a local not-for-profit social enterprise. Which is a fancy way of saying we’re a business that’s not in it for the money. But because we care. About the planet. And about people.  We hate waste. So we collect discarded wood. Perfectly good wood that would otherwise end up in landfill.  We then resell it to anyone who wants it at bargain prices. What’s not to like?  We turn some of it into amazing shelves, table tops or benches. You can find them in our Ideas Hub. Come and visit us and take a look.  Our team is made up of local people with a feel for wood. And we provide work, skills and confidence to people who, for a variety of reasons, find it hard to find regular employment.
