About Smile Plastics
Smile Plastics is a materials designer and manufacturer, crafting supersized recycled plastic sheets for use in commercial interiors and product design.
Here at Smile Plastics, we’re dedicated to breathing new life into would-be waste materials. Our 100% recycled and recyclable plastic sheets, designed and made in the UK, contribute to the circular economy our built environment desperately needs to survive. As part of this, we have chosen to tell a material’s story through its surface.
It quite literally wears its lifecycle on its sleeve. Whether it’s the glimmer of yoghurt pot foil or the monochromatic flash of a barcode, it’s a visual reminder of how plastic plays a part in responsible material selection now, into the future. For over 30 years, Smile Plastics has been a pioneer in this field, championing sustainable practices and driving innovation to reimagine 'waste'.
