About Newbery Metals Ltd
Newbery Metals is a leading UK metal recycling business, based in the South-West. We are a family owned Company, founded 125 years ago & now operating from 6 locations in the region.
Ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal
Our main activity is the recycling of all types of scrap metal- from ferrous, non-ferrous & end of life vehicles, to catalytic converters, circuit boards and car parts-we deal with all available scrap metal sources including: households, trade, factories, metal merchants, & the manufacturing / construction / demolition industry.
Our Vehicles
We operate a modern fleet of vehicles and plant which allows us to accurately meet all of our customers' individual needs. From mobile baling equipment, to our fleet of trucks, skip delivery lorries, as well as roll on roll off vehicles and containers and bulkers
The containers we use range in capacity from 8 to 40 cubic yards. We also operate a free delivery and collection service where appropriate.
What do we do with our metal?
All incoming metal is weighed , sorted, graded and processed- this may involve stripping of wire and cables, baling & palletizing aluminium sheet or copper tanks or shearing steel sections & crushing vehicle bodies - ready to ship to recycling plants in Europe & throughout the world.
