About Catcon UK Ltd

We process thousands of scrap catalytic converters every year from a licenced hazardous waste treatment facility in East Yorkshire. The facility has been designed purposefully for the treatment of spent catalytic converters. This allows us to ensure maximum capture of precious metal content during the treatment process and provide the most accurate assays possible.

OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Andrew Montgomery (Proprietor)

Catcon UK was established by Andrew the company owner in Early 2016. Andrew has a wealth of experience in the precious metals recycling trade with over a decade of prior experience, he took the decision to establish Catcon UK as he believed customers could benefit more financially from the returns within refined catalyst material. This vision was well received with Catcon UK rapidly becoming a leading company within catalyst recycling.

Samuel Bury (Operations Manager)

Sam joined the company in 2016. He brings with him a vast set of business skills that he applies to managing our clients and operations as well as excellent maths and chemistry abilities. He always aims to provide a positive working relationship for all our customers and will always go that extra mile for our valued clients.

OUR MISSION

To capture and re-use as much precious metal content for catalysis as possible from spent catalytic converter waste streams. By recycling the precious metals contained in the catalysts, we contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the environment. We care about the environment for the future generations. This helps maintain pollution levels by recycling end of life catalytic converters and DPF filters and provides re-supply to the industries that utilise precious metals for production.

OUR FACILITY

Based just off the M62 at Goole, East Yorkshire we are well situated to service any business in the country. Our premises are fully permitted by the environment agency to treat end of life catalytic converters. We have built bespoke areas indoors to ensure maximum capture of precious metal materials and minimise airborne loss. We accept door trade and national collections are available for minimum quantities, please contact us if you wish to discuss or arrange an appointment with us.
