About Moorfield Road Recycling Centre
Moorfield Recycling Centre is provided for householders to deposit and recycle household rubbish. Check opening times before setting off to site.
Full or mostly full tins of reusable, water-based paint that are brought to Guildford CRC will be set aside for our new paint reuse shop here at Guildford. Residents will then be requested to make a suggested donation to Macmillan Cancer Support in exchange for any paint taken from the shop.
Previously, tins of water-based paint sent to the recycling centre would be sent for disposal rather than recycling or reuse. This new scheme will keep valuable resources from going to waste, all while raising money for a great cause and providing affordable, eco-friendly decorating options for Surrey residents.
